One of the greatest players in Texans history will officially retire as a member of the organization on Wednesday. Andre Johnson is set to sign a one-day contract and be honored at a press conference.
Johnson spent the first 12 seasons of his career in Houston. The former Miami star was drafted third overall by the Texans in 2003. Johnson is the franchise's leader in nearly every receiving category including career receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and 100-yards games.
The seven time Pro Bowler also set the single season franchise record with 115 receptions in 2008 and 1,598 receiving yards in 2012.
