TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Tony Romo is still a Cowboy nearly one month after reports surfaced saying he would be released when the new league year began in March. Dallas owner Jerry Jones said last week during league meetings that the deadline on a decision to release the quarterback is training camp.
Still hoping an NFL team will bite and trade for the four-time pro Pro Bowler, NFL.com reported on Monday Jones has given all 32 NFL teams permission to pursue Romo. The talks however are limited to conversations concerning Romo's contract, which essentially means organizations are welcome to offer picks or players to the Cowboys in return for the quarterback.
