Jury Reaches Verdict in KKK Killing Trial

A Mississippi jury has found former Ku Klux Klansman Edgar Ray Killen guilty of three counts of manslaughter in the 1964 deaths of three civil rights workers. The deaths of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner were depicted in the movie, "Mississippi Burning." The three men had come to Mississippi to investigate a fire at a black church. Instead, investigators say about 18 Klansmen beat and shot them to death. Seven were convicted of their murders. No word when Killen, who is now 80-years-old will be sentenced.
