KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -

After assistance from the public, Kilgore Police Department say they have identified a man who allegedly stole "adult toy" items from a local store.

Police say that the man in the surveillance photo entered Venus, an adult entertainment store off Industrial Boulevard in Kilgore, on the evening of March 1. He allegedly stole several items from the adult store, and the clerk said he refused to pay for them. When the man left the store with the items, police say, the clerk chased him outside, but he fled.

The suspect, police say, "rode off on his motorcycle into the night with his adult novelty items."

Police asked followers of their department's Facebook page for help identifying the man. Numerous people replied, and apparently, a positive identification has been made. Police have not identified the suspect.
