TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A police investigation has led police to arrest a woman who was "robbed and held at knifepoint."

According to Tyler Police Department, they have determined that the female who said she was robbed at knife point in Cumberland Park Shopping Center was actually a co-conspirator with Chad Boening of Dallas.  She is identified as Jamie Hardy, 33, of Tyler.

Police say Boening and Hardy planned the robbery and set up the male victim, whom Hardy met online, to rob him. Investigators secured an arrest warrant on Wednesday, and arrested Hardy. She was charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Hardy was transported to Smith County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Boening was arrested on Sunday, March 12, after two good Samaritans saw him trying to harm two individuals in Tyler.

According to Officer Don Martin, at 2:10 p.m on Sunday,  Hardy and the man she met online were in the parking lot in front of FD's Grillhouse, located on 8934 South Broadway, when a man brought out a large knife.

The suspect, identified as Chad Boening, 35, stuck the knife up to the female, who is now identified as Hardy, and stated "do you want to see her die?"

Two witnesses, Chase and Terry Nick, were sitting in their vehicle when they observed the assault in progress and exited to assist the victims

According to Tyler PD,  both Chase and Terry displayed handguns to the suspect, ordering him to drop the knife and get on the ground.

The suspect complied and remained on the ground until an off-duty game warden who was in the area took him into custody.

Boening was transported to Smith County Jail and charged with Aggravated Robbery.
