HOUSTON, TX (KLTV) - The first day of the new NFL league year is off and running with tons of excitement. According to ESPN, The Texans have traded quarterback Brock Osweiler to the Browns along with a second round pick in 2018. Cleveland and Houston also swapped a sixth round pick for a fourth round pick this year.
The Browns will take on Osweiler's $16 million salary, and that clears $10 million in cap space for the Texans. NFL Network is reporting that since Houston has the cap room to sign Tony Romo, it will not trade for the former Cowboys quarterback.
