DALLAS, TX (KLTV) -

Wednesday was a busy day for the Cowboys. The organization announced it was going to release quarterback Tony Romo, met with free agent East Texan Josh McCown, and agreed to re-sign wide receiver Brice Butler.

The last bit of news on the one-year deal is good considering free agent to be Terrance Williams is expected to sign elsewhere for a lot of money. There is still more work to be done at the position. And in other news, safety Barry Church is expected to leave Dallas and sign with Jacksonville.
