Amber Alert discontinued for missing child in Anderson Co.

PALESTINE, TX (KLTV) -

An Amber Alert has been discontinued after a missing child East Texas child was located in Arkansas.

On Thursday, 10-month-old Jax Laymance was reportedly abducted from his custodial grandparents' home in Palestine, according to authorities.

Shortly after midnight Friday, an Amber Alert was discontinued after law enforcement in Anderson County received notification the child was found.

The update was shared among law enforcement through the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS), according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

When Laymance was taken, he was believed to be with Jeremy D. Laymance and Morgan L. Mosley, who are his non-custodial biological parents.

A notification was issued, asking the public to help locate a black 2013 Dodge Avenger with Arkansas plate 535WMB. The circumstances of the child being found are unclear at this time.
