It's not a sportscast without Josh Hamilton news lately, and that's not a good thing since were not talking about home runs. Hamilton will not be on the Rangers opening day roster since he underwent surgery Monday on his left knee.
The 35 year-old is facing at least six months of rehab after having a procedure to repair some damaged meniscus cartilage. This is the same knee Hamilton had surgery on last year to fix a torn ACL.
The five-time all-star has not played in the majors since 2015.
