"Lil Wranglers Roundup"

It was a night to celebrate life for some young East Texans. The annual "Li'l Wranglers Roundup" was held this evening at the Graham Farms in Bullard, which is the sight of this year's Cattle Barons' Gala.

Tonight's event is for the pediatric oncology children in East Texas. It's a chance to honor these young cancer survivors. They were treated tonight to cotton candy, making a teddy bear, pony rides, games, a hot air balloon, great food and music and, of course, a clown. "I love the ponies," says Luke Hughes, a cancer survivor.

"Li'l Wranglers Roundup" is one night that these kids are just like any other. "It's something fun you can do to get away from all your troubles that you have. No worries about anything and no doctor's appointments. It's time to have fun and relax," says Amber Adair, this year's "Li'l Wrangler."

The "Li'l Wranglers Round" up began in 1997. It's held in conjunction with the Tyler Cattle Barons' but, unlike the gala, it is not a fundraiser just a fun time for the children.
