Each year this group of men travel across East Texas to perform for loved ones on Valentine’s Day.

“It’s unique. There’s just something great about a singing valentine,” says East Texas Men in Harmony Barbershop Chorus Vice President of Marketing Bryan Black.

From plumbers to doctors, each member is unique.

“Our youngest member is 15 and our oldest member just turned 93,” Black says.

At your request, they will sing wherever you would like.

“Normally we have a husband for his wife or a guy for his girlfriend. Sometimes an office manager or a business owner will send one to his office staff,” Black says.

Davis Grundish has been in the group for seven years.

“The look on their face is just unbelievable. It really is a wonderful surprise for whoever is going to receive it,” Grundish says.

As resident, he says the group is always looking for new recruits to help warm the hearts of East Texas.

“I think if they visited one of our rehearsals they would enjoy it and its very, very fulfilling. It makes you feel good when you get through,” Grundish says.
