TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

This is not a joke. Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt will hold a press conference on Thursday afternoon at the Cowboys headquarters to announce that the football program will hold its spring game at The Star in Frisco on April 1st.

It's not known if this is the reason, but Tech's Jones AT&T Stadium is currently under construction as new turf is being installed.
