Sports WebXtra: East Texans playing in collegiate All-Star games

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Over the next two weeks, several East Texans will take the field in college football all-star games. It is a chance for the players to impress NFL scouts and person ell in an NFL type atmosphere including practices during the week.

Former Longview Lobo and LSU tight end Colin Jeter will play in the East-West Shrine game this weekend in Florida, while former John Tyler Lion and Houston quarterback Greg Ward Jr. will suit up in the NFLPA Bowl this weekend in Los Angeles.

Next week, John Tyler products Fred Ross and Tyus Bowser will play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama along with former TJC Apache Josh Reynolds.
