TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

In somewhat surprising news, Kansas has hired TCU's Doug Meacham to be its new offensive coordinator. Meacham was with the Horned Frogs from 2014-2016 and was a Broyles award finalist after the 2014 season when TCU had the most improved offense in the country.

Kansas head coach David Beaty is 2 and 22 in two seasons, and was the teams playcaller. Meacham will now take over those duties and coach wide receivers.
