An afternoon of team practice with the T-J-C girls softball team was a dream come true for Billie. It's this 14-year-old's favorite sport.
"Softball is life to me. It means everything to me. If I'm not doing it, I don't know what I'm doing," Billie said.
She especially loves to camaraderie of the team sport.
"I get to be out with my team. I get to hit, I get to field," Billie said.
Billie does well in school with guidance and praise to encourage her along the way. And she is already thinking about her future.
"Since I love science. I want to be a vet. I want to go to Texas A&M and stuff to become a vet," Billie said.
Billie says she loves horses and wants to live in the country. She is also a passionate and energetic teen who loves to sing, dance, and listen to music.
As for her forever family, Billie says she'd like to be an only child. Billie says she has been bounced around foster homes since she was 5-years-old.
"I do want a family, with all my heart I want a family," Billie said.
Billie loves to spend time with others, young and old alike, sharing stories and simply enjoying one another's company; whether sitting around the table, out in the yard, or traveling along on a road trip.
"I like to travel and go on vacations and stuff like that and spend my summer with them and getting to know them and actually bonding with them," Billie said.
Billie has a heart full of love and joy and is looking forward to sharing it with a forever family.
"It would mean the world to me since I can't go back to my family, my mom and dad and To see other kids have fun with their parents it does make me sad sometimes," Billie said.
A family who is active and can "take it easy" at the same time would be a great fit for Billie, but most importantly this rising softball star needs a forever home that can show her the Gift of Love.
