New Diana Eliminates #1 Franklin

Monday afternoon, the New Diana Eagles beat top-ranked Franklin, 5-3 in eleven innings.

Senior Jarrad Hollis reached base all six times he came to the plate, and hit a game-winning 2-run homer in the eleventh.

Andy Malone's team has now defeated the defending state champions, and the number one team in successive weeks. Their next series will be against Woodville.
