New Church Opens: New Life Worship Center

A thriving East Texas church has a brand new home. New Life Worship Center opened its new facility earlier today. The church started in Tyler in November 2002. Then, they met at a local hotel, but Pastor Rudy Bond had a vision of doing much more in this community.

Part of the vision included a38,500 square foot building that will seat 1200 people. New Life Worship Center is a spirit-filled, multi-cultural church that believes in helping people all across East Texas.

"We are involved in every evangelistic outreach program you can imagine. We have food banks, we will open a place called Michael's House of Hope which is a transitional housing facility. We have Sidewalk Sunday school -- everything you can imagine."

New Life Worship Center will host grand opening services next weekend. Services will be on Friday, June 3rd and Saturday ,June 4th at 7 p.m. and on Sunday June 5th at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Special guests will include Dr. TL Lowery, Tommy Tenney, and Gary Oliver. New life is located at 18535 Highway 69 south. The church phone number is 903-871-8700.
