(KLTV) -

Attorney Brian Loncar, whose professional nickname was "The Strong Arm," was found dead on Sunday. This happened only two days after his 16-year-old daughter’s funeral.

His daughter, Grace Loncar, died on Nov. 25 after a long struggle with depression, which family says led to her suicide

According to the Dallas Morning News, it is unknown at this time where his body was found or the cause and manner of his death.

However, police responded to the downtown offices of his law firm Sunday morning, according to Dallas Morning News. He had been taken to a hospital overnight, according to an Associated Press report.

Loncar's office released a statement Sunday evening regarding his passing.

“Brian Loncar’s colleagues and employees are shocked and enormously saddened by these tragic events. We are remembering and honoring his passion, commitment to his clients and skillful representation of people who are in pain and need the firm’s assistance. You know his message as being ‘the strong arm’ for people who have been injured. Please know the team Brian built here is resolved to continue service to you that is reflective of Brian’s winning record, strength, expertise, wisdom as well as his deep sense of caring for his clients and people in need of help. We will continue to fight for you.”

Loncar has a local office in Tyler, Brian Loncar and Associates, located on 223 E. Charnwood.
