Eagles Pushing Season Past Graduation

Class 3A is down to sixteen teams, a sweet number for the Lindale Eagles. To arrive at this round, the Eagles had to overcome not only the top ten Gladewater Bears last weekend, but also three playoff games with temperatures in the mid-nineties.

So it's back to work for the Eagles, with a regional semifinal series against Van Alstyne starting on Thursday. It's an exciting time for Lindale, their deepest run for any of their players and with a week full of playoffs and graduation, it's a lot of fun, too.

It's been eight years in a row for the Eagles in the playoffs, and for the first time, these guys will get a chance to continue on even after graduation.
