TDCJ searching for ETX convict who violated parole

AUSTIN, TX - The Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Office of the Inspector General-TDCJ are asking for the public’s help locating a parole violator.

Joe Allums II was released from prison after serving time for aggravated kidnapping and attempted murder with a deadly weapon. Soon after his release, Allums violated his supervision by not reporting to his parole officer.

There is currently an active warrant for his arrest. Investigators believe he may still live or work in East Texas.
