Carthage Knocks Out Bullard In Final At-Bat

It came down to their final out on Saturday, but the number one ranked Carthage Bulldogs finally knocked out the Bullard Panthers in game three, 5-4.

Bullard's Brody Greene went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, knocking in runs in the first and second innings.

Carthage came back to score in the second and third innings, including a 2 RBI triple from Kory Cleveland.

With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Blaine Brewster hit an RBI single to bring home the game-winning run.

Clayton McMillan was the winning pitcher in relief of Cleveland for Carthage. McMillan is 11-0, and worked 3 innings, giving up 2 hits and no runs.
