Avalon Faire seeks scare volunteers

KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas renaissance fair is asking volunteers to be ghosts or goblins on a scare trail.

For the next two weekends, Avalon Faire renaissance park is hosting Halloween 'scare trails' at its location on FM-1252.

Called Halloween 'Knightmare', the faire is looking for actors who want to participate in its new haunted trails.

They'll feature three haunted trails, one 'less scary' trail for kids, and one that is 'Game of Thrones'-themed.

All good fun for all family members.

"We have a blast and that's what it is, it's all about fun , we come out here we have a lot of fun. It's a nice safe atmosphere.

For the diehard people that want to be scared, bring your nerves and your will, and see if you can get through it,"says Avalon Faire part owner Robert Greeson.

For information on times and ticket prices, or to volunteer, you can visit Avalon Faire website.
