Surveillance video shows what happened moments before a robbery was stopped by a deputy constable.

It happened at the Super Food Mart Gas Station in the 2000 Block of West Gentry Parkway in Tyler Tuesday night.

Tyler Police arrested, Martiness Jones-Bigham, 21, after he pulled a knife on the store clerk.

In the video, Bigham, dressed in a black hoodie, walks back and forth between the check-out counter and aisles of food. This continues for a few minutes, and he even places chips and soda on the counter.

Bigham later goes behind the counter and rushes at the clerk with a knife. The video shows the clerk motioning Bigham towards the register.

Moment later, Smith County Precinct 1 Deputy Constable Glen Stone comes through the door and holds Bigham at gun point.

As Stone rushes in, the clerk runs into a back room.

Stone immediately called Tyler police for back-up. According to police, Stone said Bigham's face was covered, so that's when he decided to follow him into the store. No one was hurt during the incident.

Police said this case, and other recent gas station robberies that have occurred in the Tyler area, are still under investigation.
