EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

A pilot known on the Great Texas Balloon Race circuit is taking his campaign to elect Donald Trump to new heights.

Robert Ambeau, who raced in the East Texas competition while piloting a Dr Pepper balloon, is getting new attention for his latest balloon - inspired by the Republican presidential candidate. The red, white and blue balloon has Trump's campaign slogan printed on the fabric, "Make America Great Again."

Ambeau recently displayed the balloon during an event in Natchez, Mississippi, according to The Natchez Democrat.

An image of the balloon caught the attention of Donald Trump Jr., who posted the photo to his Instagram with the caption, "Now that's a campaign balloon!!! My friend sent me this from a fair in Natchez, MS this weekend. #maga #trump2016 #makeamericagreatagain #trump"

As of Wednesday morning, the photo had received more than 19,200 likes on the social media sharing site and more than 370 comments.

The photo was also posted to Trump Jr.'s Facebook page, where it had received more than 13,000 reactions and 1,754 shares as of Wednesday.

Reaction to the post on Trump Jr.'s accounts has been mixed, with some users expressing support and others voicing dissatisfaction.

KLTV has reached out to Ambeau for comment.
