The family of a missing East Texas woman, who was pregnant at the time of her disappearance, is still asking the public for help in finding clues as to where she is.
Sheryia Grant, of Kilgore, was eight months pregnant when she was last seen on August the 20th. Now, over six weeks since anyone has seen Sheryia, her family agonizes over not knowing what happened to her.
"I haven't forgot about Sheryia and I don't want you to forget about her. We were very close," says Sheryia's aunt Ray-Neishia Kirven.
After a huge effort by family and friends to blanket East Texas with flyers and posters, even upping the reward for information to $10,000, there's still no information for where Sheryia is.
When she arrived at her home the night before she disappeared, everything was fine. There were no signs anything was wrong. Her family believes somebody somewhere knows what happened the day after.
When she failed to show up for work the day she disappeared, her family knew something was wrong.
But the why is something that remains a mystery.
"Everywhere I go I hear, have you heard anything about Sheryia? I heard this, I heard that.
I don't care about who gets prosecuted, whatever, I care about, where is my niece at?," Kirven says.
But her family will not stop until they know.
"What do we do next. What's going to give me closure is seeing and getting my nieces back. If anybody knows anything that will help us, I would like for you to come forward and say something, it's been too long," says Kirven.
Investigators have named no suspects in the case.
