Two East Texas Private Schools Playing For State Baseball Championships

In the next 48 hours, a pair of East Texas private schools will advance to their respective state tournaments in Waco.

In TAPPS 4A, the All Saints Trojans are 23-7-1, and defeated Houston Cypress in the regional finals, avenging their season-ending loss last year. All Saints will play Lubbock Trinity Christian Thursday at 4:00pm.

Six hours earlier on the same field, the Brook Hiil Guard will play Watauga Harvest in the TAPPS 3A semifinals. Brook Hill is the defending state champion, 20-8 on the season.

If both teams win, they would again play on the same field Friday at Mary Hardin-Baylor. The 3A state championship is at 1pm, the 4A final at 4pm.
