MARSHALL, TX (KLTV) - East Texas police are saying it does not appear that there was any foul-play involved in the death of a missing woman.
According to the Marshall police department, no foul play is suspected in the death of 83 year old Frances Jackson of Marshall.
The woman's body was found in an area known as the clay pits on Bell Cut-off road.
Officers were called to the area on a report of a suspicious vehicle, which later was identified as belonging to miss Jackson.
Investigators say it's possible Jackson could have slipped and fallen into the water.
With the entrances chained, investigators are looking see how she got into the area. An autopsy has been ordered.
