Wood County judge pleads guilty to driving while intoxicated

WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A Wood County judge pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated.

Judge Kenneth Bryan Jeanes pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .15 or more.

Jeanes, who was arrested in April was reportedly driving on the wrong side of U.S. Highway 69 in Mineola.

Jeanes was "resting against the front of a Mineola police vehicle" Wood County Sheriff's Sgt. James Hildebrand said in an arrest affidavit about how he found the judge when he arrived on the scene.

Sgt. Hildebrand responded to assist Mineola police and said he asked Jeanes if he thought he had too much to drink, Jeanes told him "No, but probably."

Jeanes was sentenced to 10 days in the Wood County Jail.
