Woman Tries To Find Daughters 10 Years Later

These pictures are all Debbie Salazar has left of her two daughters. Crystal and Misty ran away from home 10 years ago.

"It was a bad time in our lives. I was going through some hard times myself and they just didn't want to be at home anymore," says Debbie.

Since then, the girls have only been spotted a few times in Cherokee County.

'But they slipped through their fingers and we haven't had any luck since then," says Debbie.

Now Debbie desperately needs to get in touch with her girls for their own health.

'It was January the 4th when I was diagnosed with breast cancer," she explains.

Debbie is suffering from a very invasive form of breast cancer. She carries the breast cancer genes, BRCA 1 and BRCA 2.

"This is genetic and it can be passed on to my girls and they need to be tested for this. They are at risk for early cancer."

Debbie doesn't want her daughters to have to go through the pain of chemo. If they knew to get the genetic test done, their futures could be cancer free. She hopes if they get this message, they'll also come home, because Debbie still dreams of seeing them again one day.

"I do have my faith and that keeps me strong and I pray day and night that we will be reunited. And I have dreams that we are reunited. I don't know if it is a premonition or what I just know if it is God's will we will be back together."
