Cowboys Camp: Morris Claiborne shining; Alfred Morris to start preseason opener at RB

OXNARD, CA (KLTV) -

It's not 100 percent clear whether or not Dez Bryant and fellow stars Tony Romo and Jason Witten will play a series in the Cowboys preseason opener on Saturday in Los Angeles against the Rams. But, we do know running back Darren McFadden won't play as he continues to recover from elbow surgery.

Rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott likely won't suit up because the fourth overall pick is slowly working his way back from tightness in his hamstring.

That means Dallas fans will get a good look at Alfred Morris. A two-time pro bowler, the former Washington Redskin was acquired this off-season. Morris admits the Cowboys offense hasn't come easy, but first team reps on Saturday should continue to help him out.

Miller's donation of 7,500 dollars, will go to help the lions cover that cost. "Keith Miller's been a big sponsor of John Tyler High School football program for years now.  I know it's...More >>

The last time we talked about the Kilgore Bulldogs, quarterback Buddy Jackson and wide receiver Jonathan Shepherd were apart of the 800-meter relay team that won gold at the 2017 state track meet. But today they are back in the pads, and looking to turn their speed into touchdowns.  Competing in District 9-4A, Kilgore has always had a strong run game that helped them become the 2016 District Champs.
