OXNARD, CA (KLTV) -

After a two hour practice in full pads, most of the time the Cowboys players meet with their position coaches and then head into shower and change. But that's not the case for the tight ends.

Instead, Jason Witten and company are put to the test by tight ends coach Mike Pope. As you can see in the video, the crazy drills vary, but one thing remains the same, Pope wants his guys to concentrate on catching the football.

From dunking their heads in water to wearing goggles, I've seen it all the past two years at training camp, but I've never seen the same drill repeated.. I'm not sure where they come from, but even 14-year veteran like Witten takes them seriously.

"I enjoy most of them," Witten said. "Coach pope is pretty interesting the way he approaches it. But yeah it is a lot of fun. He has a lot of year at this position and its been a lot of fun. It's great so its all about helping you catch passes and we all love doing that."
