LeTourneau University Breaks Ground On New Chapel

Officials at LeTourneau University broke ground, Thursday, on the university's new $15 million chapel.

On Thursday, to give some perspective, a 92 feet tall crane was placed beside the construction area signifying how tall the chapel would be when completed. Two mannequins in a seat were hanging from the crane 48-feet in the air. That signifies the height of the top of the second balcony.

The S.E. Belcher Junior Chapel and Performance Center will be used for student chapel services and a programs for the community.
