Ozone season is here.
That means, every now and then, you'll hear us announce an Ozone Action Day. On those days, ozone is likely to form at more dangerous levels in the air we breathe.
Environmentalists say there are things everyone can do to reduce ozone levels.
"Driving less on an Ozone Action Day, carpooling, doing something other than that," Theresa Pella, with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), said. "Companies have such things as possibly not running certain types of equipment during those ozone hours."
Ozone season officially runs until the end of September.
