EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

Don't forget to pack your sunscreen and extra water... it's going to be warm and sunny for your Fourth of July plans.

We'll be in the upper 70s in the morning, so it won't feel too bad. If you have any strenuous activities to take care of, that'll be the time to go for a run or to walk your dog. By 10 a.m., we'll start to heat up.

It'll be mostly sunny in the afternoon, so wear your sunscreen if you're going to the pool. The UV index will be Extreme, meaning there will be "an extreme risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure," according to the EPA. Your skin will burn in just a few minutes without sunscreen!

We should be in the low 90s by lunchtime, so don't forget to hydrate as well.

It'll be hot in the afternoon, with highs in the mid 90s, but with the humidity, it's going to feel more like 100-105. There is some good news though... we'll have a bit of a breeze to help us out, with winds out of the southwest around 10-15 mph.

The breeze may help it feel a little better outside, but it will also bring some choppy conditions to the area lakes. Don't forget your life jacket!

We'll stay warm, in the 90s, through the early evening, until the sun sets around 8:30 p.m. Temperatures will fall into the 80s once it gets dark. With just a few clouds in the evening, you'll be able to see the fireworks just fine.

Have a fun and safe holiday!
