Homeland Security Training In Longview

Some much needed homeland security equipment was put to use today in Longview by a new emergency response team. The Longview special operations team worked today on techniques to find survivors in a collapsed building at the old "Strohs" plant. The 34 members of the team just got new rescue equipment and vehicles that were paid for by homeland security.

The team helped victims trapped under concrete, even going so far as to live in tents, similar to ground zero in 2001. The training continues through Tuesday.
