The investigation continues into three people charged with capital murder in connection to an East Texas double homicide last month.

The three suspects, 36-year-old Dustin Bennett, 50-year-old Craig Davison and 19-year-old Patricia Baker are each charged in the murders of two men, whose bodies were found by a Longview railroad track in March.

Bennett and Davison's arrest records show a history of alleged violence, and it was public information that led police to the three suspects.

On Friday, police and SWAT members arrested Davison and Baker from a Hallsville area home, east of Longview. Dustin Bennett was already in jail for burglary, when he was charged with capital murder late Friday.
"This is still an active ongoing investigation. There's a whole lot more investigative work that needs to be done," said Longview police chief Mike Bishop, in a Friday press conference.
A records check shows Bennett and Davison both had long arrest records, including thefts and aggravated assault. Davison even had terroristic threats and aggravated kidnapping charges.

Neighbors say there was recent traffic around his residence.

On March 23, a gruesome discovery: 20-year-old DeKeilen Nelson, and 28-year-old Kevin Stephenson were found dead near railroad tracks along Estes Parkway in Longview.

"I was called on the scene of what appeared to be two males, what appears to be gunshot wounds. That's all I can know at this time," said Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 James Mathis, in a March interview.
Police say anonymous tips led to tying the three suspects to the deaths.
"Information that came in through CrimeStoppers on two people in connection with the murders of Nelson and Stephenson. They were arrested for and charged with capital murder," Bishop said.
Police have not ruled out more arrests in the case.
