COLLEGE STATION, TX (KLTV) -

Aggies head football coach Kevin Sumlin has named Trevor Knight his starting quarterback for the upcoming season. Knight transferred to Texas A&M from Oklahoma in January and had a very productive spring.

The San Antonio product threw for over 280 yards and accounted for three total touchdowns in the Aggies maroon and white spring game on Saturday. Knight is best known for shredding an Alabama defense in the Sugar Bowl to end the 2013 season and led the Sooners to victory.
