Sports WebXtra: Cole Hamels pitches in final spring game before opening day

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels had one last tune-up before he starts for Texas on opening day next Monday, April 4th. In his final spring training start, Hamels helped Texas defeat Kansas City 5 to 1. The lefty went five innings, gave up two hits, and one earned run.

Hamels also struck out five batters, and threw a total of 61 pitches.
