Deputy Wounded In Courthouse Shooting Out Of Hospital

After weeks in intensive care, the deputy critically wounded in the Smith County Courthouse Shootout is out of the hospital.

Smith County Sheriff's Deputy Sherman Dollison has been moved to the ETMC Rehabiliation Center and is now in good condition.

Dollison was shot four times when David Arroyo, Sr. opened fire in front of the Smith County Courthouse February 24th.

Dollison was on life support for a time, but now doctors say his prognosis is good.

Two others shot by Arroyo died at the scene.  Arroyo was shot and killed by officers after a short pursuit.
