Man Breaks Into Teen Girl's Upstairs Bedroom

Police are looking for a man who broke into a 13-year-old's upstairs bedroom in the middle of the night.

Her home is on North Glenwood in Tyler. The teenage girl was sleeping, when a man at her window woke her up at about 2 a.m. Police say she ran to make sure the house doors were locked, and when she returned, the suspect was climbing in through her window.

He's identified as a relative named Ronnie Dewayne Lindsey. Police say Lindsey stole an item from the girl's room and fled to a wooded area. Police are not releasing what that stolen item is, but they say it was not expensive.

If you have any information on Lindsey's whereabouts, you're asked to call Tyler police or Crimestoppers.

Julie Tam, reporting.
