Shreveport Man Blind From East Texas Accident

A Louisiana man saved by an east Texan from a deadly gas at an oil holding tank in February, has now been diagnosed as "legally blind". Truck driver Michael Pennywell was overcome by what was suspected as "h-2-s" gas at a crude oil holding facility near Marshall back in February. Pennywell was rescued by fellow trucker Jared Norman of Longview, but both suffered from exposure to the gas.

Now Shreveport doctors have diagnosed Pennywell has being legally blind because of his exposure. Both men are seeking legal actions against their companies for their exposure to the gas.
