Gregg County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on drug charges Friday.
Wyatt Zur, 20, of White Oak, was arrested overnight Friday and booked into the Gregg County Jail. According to the sheriff's department, a deputy noticed Zur's vehicle traveling at a speed of 68 mph in a 50 mph zone on Highway 80, west of White Oak Road in White Oak.
The deputy noticed the driver, later identified as Zur, appeared to be sweaty and nervous. He was given consent to search Zur's vehicle. He found a yellow plastic bag and a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine and a clear glass container containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
Zur was booked into the jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
