7 On Your Side Update: Extended Warranties

On March 7th, we told you about Aaron Aycock of Longview, who tried to use the extended warranty he bought at the Best Buy in Longview.

The extended warranty was for the cell phone he purchased there but when he tried to replace the malfunctioning phone he was turned away by the store management.

That's when Aaron called "7 On Your Side". Our Christine Nelson contacted Best Buy's corporate office to get to the bottom of it. We're happy to announce that now Best Buy has agreed to replace Aaron's phone, and he still can keep the remainder of his extended warranty. Christine Nelson reporting. cnelson@kltv.com
