Investigators Trying To Determine Cause Of Elementary School Fire

One day after a fire destroyed a Malakoff Elementary building, investigators were back on the scene trying to find the cause.

For the first time investigators entered what's left of the destroyed building Thursday. It housed students in Head Start through first grade.

Damage to the structure is estimated at $5 million. Classes will resume for all Malakoff Elementary students Monday.

Displaced students and teachers will have class at the Alternative School's campus for the remainder of the school year.
