Deputy Dollison Responding To Antibiotics

An update now on the sheriff's deputy who was critically wounded in the Smith County Courthouse shooting two Thursdays ago.

Sherman Dollison, 28, is still on life support, while undergoing kidney dialysis. That began on Saturday, according to Sheriff J.B. Smith.

Smith says Dollison is responding well to antibiotics, but the hospital says he's still in critical condition.

Smith County is paying Dollison's medical bills. But if you'd like to help with other costs his family has incurred, a tragedy fund has been set up. You can donate at any Southside Bank location.
