What cars do women want? Good Housekeeping and JD Power and Associates wanted to find out. They surveyed 30 thousand women asking them what they want in a car, mini-van or suv.
The women rated safety, nice interior and exterior, durability and a quiet drive as the most important things in a vehicle. Many of the cars on the list were toyotas. According to dealers, women buy their cars more than men.
"Easily 85 percent of purchase decisions are made by a woman. Women are very smart. They know these things so they see the reports they are going to find what works," said dealer Andrew Bertrand.
