Winnsboro Falls In State Semifinals

The Winnsboro Lady Raiders led after three quarters, but were taken into overtime by the Cleveland Lady Indians and defeated in the extra frame, 69-63.

The Lady Raiders held a 14 point lead going into the final period, but were outscored 21-7 to extend the game. Winnsboro was led in scoring by Sara Senn, who had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds before fouling out. Megan Horton contributed 15 points and 6 assists, and Whitney Huffman had 13 points.

Cleveland's Shante Perry had a game high 26 points.

Winnsboro ends the season at 33-6.
