On the road again

ARLINGTON, TX (KLTV) -

Entering today, the Texas Rangers were 4-0 in Derek Hollands 4 career post season starts. Now, you can make that 4-1. Holland gave up three home runs, and Texas fell to 1-9 all-time in ALDS home games.

"We didn
t think it was going to happen. They jumped on us real quick, in the first inning. We could have stopped them. That's what I was praying for, that we could get something going now. Especially in those first two, three innings. But it didn't happen," said Elvis Andrus, Rangers infielder.

"We were in a good spot coming here. Just I think mainly for the fans, just having them on our side they were great these two games. We just weren't able to get it done," said Mitch Moreland, Rangers infielder.

With the series now tied at 2-2, the Rangers are headed back to Toronto on Wednesday, for a winner-take-all game 5. This is a repeat of 2010, when Texas won its first two games on the road in Tampa Bay, lost the next two in Arlington, but won game 5 at the Rays.

"We did it in 2010, so why not do it in 2015? We want to win. We really want to win really hard. We're going to do whatever is possible, and I think that's the key for us. We got to score early and let Cole do the rest," said Andrus.

"We
d rather not go through this point where we are at. But we are not scared. We know that our team is going to bounce back. We are going to come back Wednesday and we are going to win," said Adrian Beltre, Rangers infielder.

"This is what we fought for all year. You know we battled to this point, and I don
t see us stopping now," said Moreland.

Cole Hamels will get the start for the Rangers in Toronto on Wednesday. Texas will look to avoid becoming the third team in major league baseball history to lose the best of five series, after winning the first two games on the road.

The John Tyler Lions always seem to look sharp in their uniforms. But thanks to East Texas lawyer Keith Miller, the Lions will look better and play safer. Helmets that advertise lowering the impact of hits, and possibly reduce the amount of concussions, come with a hefty price-tag. Miller's donation of 7,500 dollars, will go to help the lions cover that cost. "Keith Miller's been a big sponsor of John Tyler High School football program for years now.  I know it's...More >>
