Better Courthouse Security Set For Discussion

Enhanced security is the next step for the Smith County Courthouse.

Today, Judge Becky Dempsey told us possible changes include more sheriff's deputies and better equipment, such as bullet-proof glass.

The Commissioners Court set a date to discuss more specifics with law enforcement at its public meeting on Monday, March 14.
