Brook Hill Hires First Football Coach

The football era at Brook Hill school in Bullard took a step forward today with the naming of the programs first ever head coach. The Paul Johnston era is now officially underway. He was introduced at a press conference on campus today. Johnston has served as the offensive cooridinator for the Canton Eagles the past two years.  The Eagles run the wide open, spread offense. Johnston, who will have brand new, state-of-the art facilities to play in, says that exciting style of play will follow him to Brook Hill.

"Those are my plans here," said Johnston, "develop young players, starting in junior high, and develop a long-lasting, successfull program. And, we will be wide-open, exciting, hopefully for our fans, and I know our athletes will be excited. Anxious to get started teaching them."

Brook Hill plans to field a varsity football team with an artificial turf playing field, all scheduled to be ready to kick off this fall.
